December 6, 2020 - World of Pinot Noir Tasting; 12/5/2020-12/6/2020 (Zoom): Burnt pink color. Slightly cloudy.

Very smoky nose. Orchard fruit. Roses in bloom.

On the palate, lush ripe strawberries, spice. Still has quite grippy tannins. Come across sort of like an orange wine. Interesting and nicely done.

January 30, 2016 - Magnum Collaboration at Claudia Restaurant (Chicago, IL): Really nice rose color, good sweet Pinot nose, good on the palate, nice finish. Sweet spot.

March 16, 2015 - This tastes like weak new world pinot noir instead of a compelling rosé. Tastes good, but overpriced for sure.

October 5, 2014 - Italians, 2nd Labels of 1st Growths, 95 Prum, +; 10/5/2014-10/6/2014 (Our favorite Italian Place): I think this missed the peak drinking window. Pale pink/copper in color. The nose is excellent. Some nice earthy funk with macerated cherries. On the palate, this has some bitter cherry flavor but mostly just falls flat. Lacking acidity. Don't get me wrong, this is a very nice rose and I went back to it a few times. It is food friendly, but at this price range, I want more.

September 21, 2014 - Fruit is becoming less fresh/pure and giving way to more secondary PN flavors. It's in a wierd place right now. Not unpleasant, but I'm not sure where it's going. Drink up or gamble on something really interesting in a few years.
