Community Tasting Notes 1

May 20, 2012 - C: Brick red, some browning on the edges
N: Strawberry leaves, dirt, sour cherries, slightly stinging alcohol
P: Decent pinot fruit (berries and cherries), leather, dirt. Some barnyard. Surprisingly fresh acidity and only slightly "port-like".
O: Fantastic QPR, easy drinking, perfectly aged, but not complicated or anything terribly interesting. Great simple wine.
