September 14, 2018 - Northern Rhone 2010 tasting #2: Rich and dense nose with warm blue fruit, charcuterie, blood, iron, smoke, some burnt notes and hints of coffee.

Big mouthfeel with grippy tannins, high acidity and a slightly bitter finish.

Fruit driven and warm wine with a new world touch. High concentration, needs more cellar time. 90p

    Note : 17/20 soit 94/100

January 26, 2014 - The nose is very charming, full of sweet fruit (both darker and red berries), some soft spice and vanilla. I would serve this slightly chilled to enhance freshness and structure, and probably not save this for another decade.

April 27, 2013 - Quite backward at the moment. Pepper and black currant comes across the restrained bouquet. After some coaxing it opens up slightly towards a more herbal character with more luscious fruit. The palate has an intense tannic structure but plenty of fruit stuffing as well. Best to let this rest for several years, but ultimately I found this enjoyable today as well. Give it a long decant.

April 3, 2012 - Very pure and deep syrah. 100% new oak but no problem with integration. A stunning wine with great potential.
