Community Tasting Notes 18

April 17, 2020 - Deep, dense inky red colour. Cherry and toasty oak on nose. Rounded mouthfeel. Light cherry, strawberry and a bit of spice on palette. Medium body and length. Very enjoyable.

December 22, 2019 - en fornuftig vin med noter af blommer. Gør det næsten som en mindre Chateauneuf du Pape

October 6, 2018 - Big wine, beautiful red-violet colour. Nose has initial notes of bright red cherries and strawberries. Decanted for a good hour and the wine started to open up, revealing some game-like scents. On the taste it reflected the fruits noted earlier. Best to drink with a meal, it’s big and feels a bit heavy. Needs more time. Revisit in 3-5 years.

March 11, 2018 - Deep, dense red colour. Red fruits on nose. Fruit forward - ripe cherry, strawberry. A touch of savouriness and good length. Enjoyable wine.

February 23, 2018 - At a great drinking point now. Still a deep, fairly opaque ruby in the glass with a nose of roasted game meat, pepper, and some dark fruits which is echoed on the palate. Dark cherries, black pepper, and savory spice and meaty notes. Still opens up as it is in the glass and enjoyed day 2 even a little more than day 1. Paired really nicely with Lamb Ragu
