June 29, 2018 - Friends opened this for a 6/29/18 card game. It had a deep, fragrant bouquet of smoke, char, blackberry, plum, mocha, cocoa, licorice, pepper and spice aromas. The palate was rich, dense and dry with flavors of blackberry, plum, mocha, cocoa, licorice, pepper and spice.

May 21, 2016 - Drank from a 1.5L bottle. Peppery with a touch of spice. Medium-bodied, with a very nice finish. Drinking really well right now. NOTE: This was our second 1.5L bottle consumed. It was consistent with the first one drunk in early March 2016.

September 2, 2015 - Floral notes, dark fruits, light spice nose, deep and dark color, well integrated fruits/tannins/acid, just the right "bite" on the tongue, coats your mouth nicely and solid medium finish that lingers. Very nice, enjoy
