March 15, 2019 - Lots of chocolate and smooth dark fruits. Integrated tannins, a bit one dimensional but improved with air time. Probably at peak now.

May 2, 2016 - My only bottle of this, which was found hiding in a corner of the cellar. Still a young-looking, semi-opaque magenta in color, lightening a bit right at the edge. Not much on the nose here - just faint aromas of dark fruits and earth. Full-bodied and silky in texture. Offers a tasty mouthful of ripe plum and blackberry fruit, with a pleasant, moderate acidity. Initially a bit short and lacking in depth, this improved after a couple of hours of air. Never showed the mesquite and fig notes I usually asssociate with Carmenere, though. Maybe past its prime, but still enjoyable - if unremarkable. But at just $14, no complaints.

May 5, 2014 - It is a good bottle of carmenere, a little bit more aromatic for my taste, but seems everyone on the dinner table was quite happy with it. Well done, nice structure but very commercially oriented.

Is it good? Yeah! But is always the same think in Chileans wines made from Carmenere grape. Ok...
