December 13, 2020 - This wine was nothing short of phenomenal.
Couldn't believe how drinkable it was upon pop n pour.
This was a classic brunello through n through.
The nose was classic brunello. Took me back to a wine cave in Montalcino.
Had very strong rose notes at first.
    Licorice, cassis
    Long after taste
It's so good, it makes me wonder if it's even possible for this wine develop and get better.

December 11, 2020 - Very very mature and in decline. The fresh fruit is almost gone and only tertiary notes are left with a high alcohol (14,5%) dominating. This is a modern style wine gone tired. I didn't even care to finish the bottle. It's not flawed, but just very boring. Drink up fast!

July 5, 2017 - Outstanding Brunello. Decanted for 3 hours. The wine looks brick colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like strawberry jam, blackberry, raspberry and cherry. It tastes like strawberry and cherry. The body is full. The wine has juicy texture. It finishes long with low acidity.

March 22, 2016 - Very oak and cedar taste. Hold another year to see if that subsides.

February 7, 2012 - The Italian Wine Masters (Metropolitan Pavilion): The refined nose showed red berries, airy herbal notes and powdered sugar. On the palate, it was velvety yet structured and focused with juicy black cherry and herbs. On the finish, sour berries lingered yet were turned juicy by this wine’s zesty acidity. This wine was a joy to drink.
