July 1, 2018 - Medium to full body merlot, mellowed tannins with red berries and black currant. Lacking bouquet but got better after an hour or two. Smooth finish.

December 29, 2006 - Deep ruby color with a nose of new wood. The taste starts with a light hint of dark fruit and is quickly followed by a smoky oak with a hint of pepper. The medium-full body is not overly tannic and is nicely layered and has a medium long finish ending in a mineral and peat taste. This will go very nicely with a grilled meat such as beef or lamb.

Smooth and a bit hot-Round and soft and a bit flabby.
