  December 5, 2019 - Strong, hearty red wine. Leather, cedar and plenty of tannin. Some acid bite characteristic of Petite Sirah.

  September 6, 2019 - Until last week, I forgot that I had bought another bottle of this about a year ago. :-)
  I was a little worried that it might be a little tired, or even completely gone, given both the suggested drinking window, and the fact that the cork was a little crunchy when I popped it. No worries! This is still a big, solid, luscious wine. My comments from 6 1/2 years ago still apply, but also this time there was a STRONG cedar note when I decanted it, that carried over into the glass.
  Sadly, I'm pretty sure I don't have yetanother bottle of this lovely wine in hiding somewhere else ...

  February 3, 2018 - Wow, this was yummy! Blackberry, plum, dark cherry, tobacco, maybe a little licorice. Delicious and perfect to drink right now. Starts sweet and sharp, then lands nicely on earthier, grounded notes. Loaded with strength and character. Good balanced tannins, lingering finish.
