March 7, 2021 - cheers - a nice surprise to find this 2008 (now 13 years old) in my cellar...and an even better surprise to see how well this wine was aging....and arguably still peaking...still enough acidity to carry forward, but great balance with medium/dark berries, earth and vanilla oak flavors

December 24, 2019 - Last of these on Christmas Eve 2019. Still drinking very nicely but with teh tannin more noticeable on this occasion. Not sure if that means they are beginning to lose fruit but it was still very attractive,

July 24, 2018 - Very similar to my last note. In the glass I could've been fooled that this was a Rioja from the colour and smell. Drinks beautifully with that herbal scent overlaying the dark fruits. One more of these but wish I had more, excellent.

July 3, 2018 - Last one, but still delicious.

I don't understand why this wine doesn't get higher scores. It is absolutely delicious, with wonderful secondary and tertiary characteristics. Cherry, with a touch of earth and tobacco. A good acid level and a medium slightly tannic finish.

    I wish I had more.
