May 2, 2020 - Decanted for 30 minutes. Closed nose but viscous on the mouth with dark fruit flavors and a medium long balanced finish. This is a great value wine if you like cab francs that you should keep in your cellar

April 6, 2018 - Very pretty purple color. Berries on entry—blueberry seems to provide sweetishness and blackberry seems to provide jamminess. There are, also, some plum flavors. Some still very serious tannin—that seems to be a signature characteristic of Spring Mountain red wines--but I’m liking it. Tannin, understandably, causes some “roughness” way in the rear palate. A quite full-bodied wine.
