January 29, 2017 - Decanted > 2 hours. Classic aromas of pepper & spice on the nose, cherry fruit and hints of cinnamon on the palate. An outstanding Cab Franc with many Cab Sauv characteristics. Really good wine inside its drinking window. Don't wait much longer.

February 15, 2016 - Enjoyed this Bordeaux from Miner with veal Ragu and pappardelle. Loved the dark cherries and softness with the complex Ragu that was flavored with porcini mushrooms and sausage as well. The wine offed great structure to the pasta dish. Miner has another hit!

March 22, 2015 - Drank alongside a 2008 Peju Cab-Franc. Only decanted for about 15 minutes before the first taste.Much more earthy than the Peju which was very fruity. The Miner is definitely ready o drink and did not change much after an hour decant. Smooth taste all the way through.
