Community Tasting Notes 1

December 6, 2013 - Allowed to breathe in glass 60 minutes before tasting. Clear dark garnet-blood red. Outstanding bouquet of black currants and cherries, anise, fennel, camphor, creosote, eucalyptus. Similar on the palate, full body with aggressive tannins, might actually benefit from a few more years in the cellar. Astringent herbal finish. Still excellent two days later under vacuum stopper.
