July 26, 2021 - Retail $50. 100% Syrah. I bought this way back in 2012 and taste the first bottle of the three shortly thereafter. It was OK (88 pts.). This bottle? More than nine years later? Yowza. Even though it is "old" (my wife's word, not mine) it is still full of fruit, verve, and life. Dark red and black fruit on the nose along with anise and spice, yeah, imagine spice on a Syrah. The palate is balanced between the fruit, spice, acidity, and mostly integrated tannins. OK. Whoa,

March 22, 2017 - Deep ruby. Medium intensity nose with aromas of black cherries, plums black pepper and toast. Some cedar, cloves. On the palate a dry, medium acidity wine with medium plus tannins, medium plus body and medium intensity flavors. Finish is medium plus. This wine is good and can be drunk now but also suitable for further aging.

August 29, 2014 - Medium ruby red with fruit and some savory aromas and flavors....good showing of dark berries and cinnamon. Medium bodied and finish. Good wine at the end of dinner. Food pairing is challenging with the savory notes.

August 31, 2013 - black peppercorns, dusty notes, meat, perfumed top notes. medium minus intensity flavours…the wine is quite 'wet' accompanied by big, grippy, chalky tannins…lacks flavour for me.
