April 22, 2024 - Tasted blind. Spicy and meaty N. Rhone wine with some oak, pepper, and a touch of alcohol on the finish. Still young.

October 21, 2023 - Lots of dark spice on the nose, roasted nuts, rosemary, blackberries,
Tannins still firm and present but they are ripe and relax to reveal, old leather, herbs, fresh acidity, chestnuts, liquorice and violets.
Ageing beautifully, becoming softer and more COte Rotie-like the longer it's open but still meaty and powerful.
No hurry to drink. -
