Community Tasting Notes 6

April 10, 2024 - I agree with my tasting notes of the past year. This wine is still testing great !! At Peak !!
A perfect cork after over a decade in the bottle, easily removed. Consumed over two days. Perfectly aged, soft, integrated, and balanced wine. Ruby red color with little to no oxidation, aromas of red bramble berries, bright flavors of black cherry and cranberry, with a pleasantly long to medium finish of soft red raspberry compote. No more bottles of this vintage remaining in my cellar. Way to go Bob Mueller.

    March 31, 2023 - Still testing great !! At Peak !!
Minor saturation on the near perfect cork after over a decade in the bottle, easily removed. Consumed over two days. Perfectly aged. soft, integrated. and balanced wine. Ruby red color with little to no oxidation, aromas of red bramble berries, bright flavors of black cherry and cranberry, with a pleasantly long to medium finish of soft red raspberry compote. My hat is off to Bob Mueller for his intuitive winemaking style.

September 3, 2020 - Best days are behind this. Some sulphur / burnt rubber smells that blew off quickly. Nose heavy on cherry and clove, along with some dried tobacco leaf. Cherry and allspice dominate the palate. Good but somewhat monolithic. I have enjoyed Mueller PN more when they are about 5 years old. Drink up!
Score: 87. Relative to expectations: -

September 16, 2016 - Really nice the second day. Probably needed more air the first day.
