June 27, 2023 - Sadly, this bottle was past its prime. Bought at auction from winebid, so I can’t speak to others, but while this still has a little of the classic orange and almond and honeysuckle peeking out from around the edges, they were pretty muted. Too bad, because I bet it was lively and lovely in its time.

January 24, 2018 - Still has plenty of life. Richness is cut by decent acidity, with notes of honeysuckle. This is a food wine.

September 25, 2016 - Balanced, long finish, complex - most enjoyable

June 27, 2015 - Subdued nose, with a slight dried apricot, brown sugar, vanilla bean, but not any ripe fruit; has an ethanol aspect; mouth is creamy, rich, medium+ heavy on the palate, but wonderful in its balance; unfolds on the palate with bitter almond, apricot pit, dried straw. Low acidity, medium long finish with slight bitterness. Love this, really classic. 13% alc.
