November 29, 2012 - Nose of sour cherry, a bit prickly, leather, menthol. Palate also of cherry. Medium to short finish. Very strong taste of cherry. Quite lively.

September 19, 2008 - possibly flawed, notes of blood, gunflint, tats about it, very acidic

April 28, 2006 - This is the single greatest buy in a Rhone wine I have every enjoyed. Terrific, almost hop-like aromatics are followed by a powerful but medium-bodied wine full of rasberries, earth, a smoke-like note, gentle acidity, and elegant tannins. Truly wonderful.

February 1, 2006 - Herbacious, citrusy, cascade hops, deep sweet fruit, blackberry, very nice balance, great wine

January 27, 2006 - Flawed. Lots of off notes: cigarette butt, sweat, sauerkraut. Strong herbal element would have been fun in a different context. One left, I hope this one was out of character.
