  March 9, 2012 - Quite a distinctive nose with plum, spice and then a candied (parma violets?!) note. Medium bodied. Grainy tannins and very dry. Palate matches the nose initially with dark fruit and spice but then there's a more vegetal/beetroot-y flavour on the finish. Interesting to taste but not overly enjoyable to drink.
