June 22, 2013 - Interesting bouquet, fragrant; diffuse palate, soft, light, lacks presence. Unconvincing. Double decanted but I suspect would have benefited from more time.

April 18, 2013 - bracing walk through heat soaked maquis. Hot plump berries and plenty of spice. Dry? yes but with a paysant dish rather splendid. Cracking value.

November 17, 2012 - At Rochelle Canteen: soft textured, juicy brambly fruit, really lovely

March 9, 2012 - Quite a distinctive nose with plum, spice and then a candied (parma violets?!) note. Medium bodied. Grainy tannins and very dry. Palate matches the nose initially with dark fruit and spice but then there's a more vegetal/beetroot-y flavour on the finish. Interesting to taste but not overly enjoyable to drink.
