November 15, 2022 - Drinking very well. At a very good spot. All comes together. Some tertiary, nice fruit (distant strawberries) going on and very vigorous. Acidity perfect and freshens the cuvée. Needed these years to tame the boldness of the cuvée.

October 7, 2012 - Decanted 2 hours. Light garnet with orange/brown. What a treat. Fully mature CDP with loads of life in it. Nose had red berries, earth, dried herbs, spice and more. The palate was a silken delight with layers of mostly understated red fruit flavors in which the secondary and tertiary notes from the nose were also able to express themselves. Medium length. Complex and finesse. Terrific with osso bucco. Huge hit with everyone, especially Nancy. (loved the old timey $15.99 sticker)
