July 24, 2012 - dark, plummy colour; very clear - great. nose: young, dark fruits (blackberries and blueberries) with sweet add. taste: firstly loads of custard, vanilla; soft tannins in the finish; later some blackberries and highbush blueberries. Almonds and wood. when openes vanilla becoming more approchable. Needs breathing.
