a little more mellowed out and softer than the actual VHR next door, definitely can taste the mondavi style here. more finesse less muscle -

October 29, 2016 - Some heat on the nose yet, palate is smooth and plenty of currant but not all that deep. Barely any tannin present, so hard to say this one gets any better with more time.

September 13, 2013 - A dark plum aroma. Some dark cherry and plum on the initial taste. A little flat on the mid palate, but it has decent acidity and a good finish. An overall good wine.
