Community Tasting Notes 2

January 12, 2013 - Ruby core with a light ruby rim. Ripe raspberry and red cherry, cola. A lot of minerality come through on the nose, granite, hard rock and some notes pf tobacco.High acid, moderate tannins, favors of ripe red fruit. The mid palate has a hint of sweetness that is beautifully balanced by the high acid. The wine finishes long with gorgeous notes of black pepper. Good wine.

January 6, 2013 - (12.5%) 100% Blaufränkisch – Light, almost crunchy red fruit on the palate. Nice focus and structure with a soft finish. Made by a co-op this one is a lively, juicy, food friendly wine that is a fine introduction to the varietal for a mere $9
