October 12, 2016 - Our last bottle from a futures purchase several years ago. Sunce's wines have been generally very good, and have presented us with opportunities to try some Italian varietals that we might not normally have encountered in the U.S.

February 20, 2016 - Decent Italian red by this small volume Sonoma County producer. A bit heavier in taste than the color alone might indicate. Went well with homemade bucatini and marinara sauce. Needed about 10 minutes in the glass to open up.

August 24, 2013 - Excellent PQR! Nose of dried cherries and mineral. Mocha and a touch of sassafras on the palate. Moderate tannins and good acidity on the finish.
