  October 9, 2016 - An absolutely delicious Cabernet that had the the mouth feel, balance and tannin to go the distance. Deep long finish of loganberries, chocolate and layers of soft licorice. A testament to a well made wine in a big vintage that cost a fraction of what the blue chip wines charge. Drink up or buy it if you can find some.

  May 9, 2015 - PNP. Couldn't believe what I was tasting. Lush fruit on the attack, almost would have guessed it was a pinot. The finish was pure cab. Long and complex. If you are fortunate enough to have a bottle of this around, enjoy!

  December 25, 2014 - I was disappointed given the pedigree and age of this wine. It never seemed to open up after decanting.

  June 9, 2014 - it's a 90-92 wine but for $18 that i paid in 2001 and it's staying power easily put it to an 93.. it's a fantastic wine right drinking well and much more complex than it's initial tasting.. great aged wine, well done merryvale.
