November 1, 2023 - Decanted at the Capital Grill in DC and enjoyed immediately. Very perfumy and curvaceous, luscious red fruit, fondant, herbs and spices, peppery finish, excellent.

May 8, 2023 - This is improving! Four hour decant, then ready to drink. Great depth but also a lightness and lift, never tasted heavy.

October 13, 2022 - Opened to breathe for 3+h before dinner. Cedar, sweet berries on the nose, on the palate, juicy blackberries, evergreen sousbois, graphite, black pepper, nice acidity, hints of tannins, and a long finish. Great juicy wine, great with beef burgundy tonight. Glad I have more!

June 20, 2021 - This was very nice, with strong dark fruit, smoke, tar…but ONLY after about four hours in the decanter. It really did take a good long while to open up, so next time I will leave it longer, and in general will try to open other bottles first. Glad to have a few left; the taste and score will improve!
