January 14, 2022 - Cool blue fruit and savory herbs. Medium bodied. Softened, mostly resolved tannins and bright acidity. Good length to the finish but a bit heavy on the herbs.

December 18, 2020 - Opened, tasted and poured into a decanter to enjoy 2 hours later.
Purple color; no signs of bricking.
Nose offers currants, some red cherries and hint of mint.
Beautiful fresh red berries with that savory herbal note. Just a wonderful fresh and vibrant wine. Fresh and inviting, the acidity, fruit, and tannins, all in harmony.
    Outstanding.

NB: My experience with the Arnot-Roberts Cabs is that they need time to fully show their top qualities. At least 5 to 10 years is needed.

May 2, 2019 - Dinner at home, Mill Valley, CA. From 750ml

Opened and decanted two hours prior to serving. A singular expression of Santa Cruz--and California--cabernet. Pure, vivid, lithe, with classic old world bell pepper notes on the nose and a beaming core of intense bright red/black fruit on the palate. Great minerality and florality on the nose and finish. Still potential on the upside. Will let my last bottle from this vintage rest for a while yet.

March 17, 2019 - Opened and poured a small taste; then let sit and served about 1 hour later.
    Dark color.
Nose offers some lead pencil and an herbal and cedar note.
Good dark fruits with a light mint/basil element.
Good acidity that gives the wine some lift. Delicious.
