January 27, 2016 - Deep ruby color, almost sanguineous. Floral notes, cherry candy. Lifted, very pure and fresh. Has a medicinal quality and some leafiness. Cabernet Franc-esque. Boldly acidic, but smoother thru the mid palate. Very juicy.

October 30, 2015 - Deep vibrant color, very luminous. Smells like a Beaujolais. Tastes like a Beaujolais. Actually has a nice long finish once you get past the acidic full frontal attack on the old 'buds.

October 26, 2014 - Medium garnet color. Moderate viscosity, intense aromatics of red fruit/ hard candy with strong vegetal/ bell pepper component. Moderate silky tannins, full in the mouth. Moderate(+)finish with good acidity. I can definitely see the previously noted comparison with cab franc, would have been my guess as well. I am getting a lot more out of this wine than previous tasters have, maybe its coming into its own now
