Community Tasting Notes 11

November 10, 2017 - A fantastic showing. Purity, structure, and restraint is evident in the beautiful balance between plump, Paso Robles fruit and earthy, savory elements. There is good density, texture, and weight, and a hard candy tension adds dimension to the juicy notes of black raspberries, fancy oak, bay leaf, and black truffles. A nuance of spice lingers on the tasty finish. This is pure loveliness.

April 14, 2017 - Notes of fig on the palate. Had a stewed taste as well, didn't really enjoy this. This may be over the hill or had a flaw I could not detect.

March 2, 2017 - Excellent Bordeaux blend. Probably has peaked. Slight bricking. Nice complexity. With long finish. Enjoy now.

July 13, 2014 - Excellent wine! Excellent winery!

May 25, 2014 - This is a very pleasant Bordeaux style wine. Lighter and definitely not the Napa Meritage Bordeaux style blend. We first tried it at the winery in Paso. Well balanced with fig and hint of blueberry. I agree that this wine won't age well but it is very drinkable now, the tannins are quite mellow.
