    July 14, 2020 - not blind, Magnum
A perfectly stored Magnum, bought directly from release. Creamy, balanced, ripe yellow Stone fruits but with refreshing acidity, at his Peak. 92

February 18, 2020 - The unusual cepage of this blend, that others have remarked as having potential to be disjointed, has really come together in time. Succulent and rich with herbal overtones. This will keep going for some time. No hurry.

July 3, 2017 - Still very young! Has a bit of puppy fat to shed and oak to assimilate but this is a beautiful wine now and full of promise for the future. Ripe fruited, light grassy feel, oaky dynamic but the wine owns the oak, light smoky feel at times. Lots of palate presence and holds well against a variety of foods, good acidity and quite polished. Waxy on the palate. Age would help here but a solid 92 from us at this stage

April 8, 2017 - Opera Wine 2017 - 100 Great Producers (Verona, Italy): { OperaWine2017, Verona } Large-scaled, richly textured, though it's also buttressed by equally generous acidity and keen balance. It wasn't so easy to focus on what was in my glass - all I could think about was the contents of the bottle sitting on my counter, in a wide-bottom decanter for 2 or 3 hours of air. There's a lot to enjoy here, and there's no rush at all, so let these rest another 2-3 years, but even then, aeration in decanter is advised. Better on the warmer end of the spectrum; thru 2024. recommended+

October 28, 2014 - SALONE DEL GUSTO 2014; 10/26/2014-10/30/2014 (LINGOTTO FIERE TORINO): Da Magnum. Più frutto, più ricco, bergamotto e burro alla camomilla. Bella scia nasale che pizzica nel naso.
Bocca estroversa, oleosa, accattivante, il legno è più invasivo, quasi dolciastro, ma non fastidioso. Tanta salivazione e mineralità in chiusura.
Più simile come frutto al 2012 che alla precisione del 2010
