  February 13, 2016 - Like drinking liquid blackberry jam. Not sure how anyone could describe this as a light red given its over the top Jamminess and alcohol north of 15%. One of my ancient bottles from when I was on the list.

  September 11, 2013 - Excellent light red. Getting metallic yet fruity taste, and earthy nose. Some spices coming through strongly half way through the taste. Great wine.

  February 23, 2013 - I am not sure what people found in this wine. I opened it and found it tasted nothing like a zinfandel. The cork was fine and the bottle was stored at 58-60 degrees for the past 6 months so there was no bottle shock and it did not appear to be a flawed bottle. I let it breathe for 3 hours and it was still difficult to drink. Decanter for another half hour and I still did not enjoy this wine. Tried it again after being open for over five hours and found it only slightly improved but not worth drinking. Either this wine needs another 5 years in the bottle or it is just not a good wine.

  January 21, 2013 - Delicious wine. Great clarity and focus. Fruit is tasty, alcohol isn't out of whack, which is sometimes can be with his wines. Would recommend.
