March 25, 2020 - Deep maroon in glass to rim. Effusive nose, won't give up, fills the table. Distinctive Italian blend on palate, full bodied, balancing acidity, hidden tannins. Was shut down when tasted a year ago, now drinking best with 36 hours in decanter, or in 5+ years, properly stored.

November 7, 2019 - I liked this better after 12 hour decant. Drying tannins added complexity. Drank smooth and balanced. Medium to full bodied. Good with steak or roasts.

December 23, 2018 - Deep red in glass. Initially reminded of Beaujolais cru or good cotes du rhone with sweet red fruits. Medium to full bodied. Becoming dryer with dusty tannins after 90 minutes in glass. Should continue drinking well for another 3-5 years.
