September 13, 2012 - Keeping in mind this is a ~$10 bottle: Actually I enjoyed it and would buy it again for an everyday bottle. Consistent with the qualities of a Malbec from Argentina, It is medium bodied with a crisp finish. It has bold dark fruit tones that starts and finishes with some spice and minerality. If the rating was based on the price range I would certainly kick it up to the 90's.

April 22, 2012 - (14%) Starts soft before a juicy explosion with dark berry, cherry and cranberry flavors. These are backed by a spiced, mineral acidity that leads to a creamy, toasted (and slightly hot), barrel driven finish that dries and lingers shortly with grippy tannins. As I’ve said before if you have to go under $10 Malbec is one of your best options. And while I might prefer others this one will serve you just find should it find your way to the table. Pair with beef.
