October 6, 2012 - This would be my first Shiraz so I have nothing really to go by. The color is deep dark red and the aromas are pleasing with plum and floral hints. The legs if this wine where very impressive and it clung to the side if the glass. A meaty mouthful with plum and apple tastes. Not to dry but a little bit if bite with the tannins. Not bad but just enough to let you know it was there. The finish was a little long and dryer then the initial taste but not unpleasant. Drank with the wife's spaghetti and meat sauce and have to say it paired very well with it. If I find half a case I would definitely get some for the cellar for gifts and when company that aren't snobs come over.
