Community Tasting Notes 22

December 29, 2023 - Clear purple in colour. Notes of cassis, baking spice, and leather. Med acidity, med body, elegant tannins. It was aging nicely. The acidity and tannin structure in Nota Bene give these wines life. Anyone who doesn't think BC wines cannot age, have not tried enough BC Wines.

September 27, 2023 - Drinking well, but wont get any better, drink now. Starting to taper off into more tertiary flavours. Was very surprised how much cherry its showing. Aromatics still strong, oak, red fruit, and plum. Tannis have all calmed down, but too much given its only 13. Good wine but not impressed with the trend its ageing on. I believe it will start to fall apart in 5 years but only time will tell or maybe it has a rebirth.
