January 30, 2023 - Cork was in excellent condition.
Dark healthy crimson. Nose; beautifully floral, sweet, spice, wood, very attractive, a herbal green note, cinnamon, tobacco, faint barn yard/forest foor.
Palate; smooooth, ripe, juicy, tainnis are soft, medium body. I would say peak drinking now to 5 years. Lovelly nose!
At 23 years, excellent Australian aged Coonawarra cabernet.
    A bargain!
Day 2 still very fresh. Went well with Chicken Chasseur.

December 13, 2022 - Much better now, with a more completely evolved palate although still showing that distinctive mint of Coonawarrra. Nose doesn't give the evolution away, still reasonably consistent with younger wine but I'm getting some more interesting nuances on the palate, perhaps a hint of liquorice and some cold coffee. Overall, really good and encouraging to see such evolution with an Australian wine

April 2, 2022 - Double decanted about an hour before drinking.
    Cork was in great condition.
    Lots of sediment!

    Colour: red brown
    Nose: earth, leather
Palette: leather, chocolate, some dark fruits as well.

Past it's prime but still nice to try.

January 8, 2020 - First Wednesday Wine Club (Napoli in Bocca, Haberfield): Served blind. Aromas of blackcurrant, earth, leather, slight plum, touch of eucalyptus, chocolate and plenty of sweet spice. Lashings of acid, plummy fruit, massive tannins, slight alcohol warmth, chocolate.
I guessed Left bank Bordeaux, classed growth, 2000 or 2005. Not the first time I've been fooled by Petaluma. Damn you Brian Croser!

August 3, 2019 - Great nose and mouth feel, still fruit on palate despite age, and some sources saying it’s past optimal drinking. I think still absolutely fine. Benefited from being filtered and decanted.
