August 3, 2015 - Upon opening, and first evening, hot on the palate. Second night, after decanting for a good two hours really tasty. Deep plum color with heavy legs. Blackberry jam on the nose with a hint of cinnamon, and chewy tobacco. Palate is robust with deep dried fruit flavors, chewy leather, a bit of tart cherry and a round lingering, full finish. Different and enjoyable.

April 30, 2015 - Needs to aerate. It is pretty big and tasty. Notes of anise on the nose.
