Community Tasting Notes 1

  • Gabriel Geller Likes this wine: 90 points

August 18, 2015 - Ruby-cherry in color, with on the nose some animal notes upfront as well as cherries, dried flowers, earth and spices. Light to medium-bodied and with a supple, silky texture, with on the palate cherries, ripe red currants and strawberries followed by loamy dirt, earthy minerals and leather as well as spices, medium acidity with rather soft tannins that gently rise while notes of cigar tobacco make themselves felt on a very long and earthy finish. Quite nice and developed, this wine is at it's peak and should hold it for about a couple more years. 12.5% Abv. 90-91
