  February 13, 2013 - Had this with sirloin kebab with Thai peanut sauce and it was a great match. At first, we were slightly impressed, but as the night went on this opened up in an extraordinary way with notes of cedar, smoke and plum and a better than medium finish. Wine is quite complex, a click more robust than medium-bodied. In its current form, it needs decanting to open up and you will be amply rewarded.

  April 28, 2012 - Great Washington Cab. Nice complexity as the wine starts off great and changes in profile throughout the night. Good nose that started with flowery, lavender smell and turned to more of dark chocolate later on. Hits the palate with mild strawberries, smoke oak, cigar. Full-bodied, rounds out with a nice finish with only a hint of tanin. Very well balanced wine.
