December 17, 2016 - This is a fabulous wine. Dense and delicious. Starts with great nose that even the server commented on when she opened our bottle. Legs extraordinarily viscous. Like crankcase oil on the glass. Huge finish. Taste
is all the dark red and black fruits with overtones of chocolate and licorice. Made the meal better at every stage. Going to compare against comparable year Colgin and Schafer next time out and think it will more than hold its own. A wine to be treasured.
