  April 3, 2015 - Intense ruby colour with violet reflex on the glass. Red fruit and spices in the nose. Very good (and soft) acidity. Very good alternative for Chianti wines as it costs 40% of the price of standards CC.

  August 22, 2012 - Dark ruby. Nose of pond water and fruit (+faint parma violets). Atfter half hour nose was more rounded and nutty/woody. Taste of strawbs and cherry with some wood. Tannins medium fine. Acidity semi-bright. Nice finish. Very moreish. A medium wine which reminded me of a Loire CF in some ways. A bit simple and young but good company.

  August 15, 2012 - Deep ruby/red color. Full aromas of cherry and some strawberry and hints of boxwood and vanilla. Full bodied with smooth tannins and fresh fruit. A medium-long finish that remains fresh throughout. It is still quite young, give it one or two more years to flesh out a little more.
  This is a very good QPR Morellino di Scansano. Perhaps only slightly one-dimensional.
