August 20, 2022 - Still intense, but softening flavors, of blue fruits, grass. Still brooding flavors, excellent acidity, balance and tannins. Excellent at this point and aging well.

August 20, 2022 - Sill nice deep color. Blackberries, blueberries, figs, spice and floral in the nose and a flavor to match with concentrated black fruits. Full bodied, nice acidity, well balanced, nice acidity, and a medium to long finish.

December 2, 2021 - Needs decant - lots of sediment. Dark, brooding aromas and flavors. Red fruits, soft, delicate, feminine on the palate, minerals, landscape, leather, slight oak. Long lingering finish.

January 21, 2021 - Deep ruby, with thick legs and significant glass stain. Strong nose of cooked prunish black fruits, some herbaceous grass and mint, and sweetish cinnamon. Also intense on the palate, while tannins completely rounded. Punchy sweet fruit flavours on the attack, while still remaining straightforward, but a long finish. While strong, it was really nice and pleasant

November 25, 2019 - Purchased upon release; pop and pour but followed over 90 mins. Definitive difference out of sommelier stems. Nuanced asphalt, earth, mushroom on the complex nose.

While I stopped buying Aussie Shiraz many years ago because it took so long for them to become enjoyable, this is a real gem and proves the benefits of time for a fine wine
