  April 4, 2020 - Found it in the back of my cellar. I think someone gave it to me as a gift. It was dreadful. It was probably terrible when it was younger but it is truly dreadful now.

  July 26, 2015 - Much better than last bottle. Good sweet fruit with some intensity. Jammy yet fresh and fruity. Not for everyone but provides an interesting fruit forward Zin that has a sweet finish.

  April 4, 2015 - It's gotten too sweet. I enjoy sweet fruit, but this is almost desert like. Ok to drink but lost its pizzaz, freshness, acidity and bite with just a few years in the bottle. Would have scored lower except that it was fine 2 years ago and maybe a bit sentimental hoping that it may change for my last bottle.

  May 26, 2014 - I don't drink much zin, and this one did not convert me. It's simple and quite sweet, like wine made from Concord grape jelly. no tannins or secondary flavors to speak of. Maybe Napa is not the best place to grow Zin, or maybe Rombauer doesn't bother to put really good grapes into this label.
