  August 14, 2020 - A layer of Bret overlays citrusy, red, Pinot fruit. Simple on the palate with a leathery finish. Disappointing as a prior bottle was much better.

  March 21, 2012 - (Tasted Blind) Tart raspberry fruit, young, quite tannic finish, tastes like Grenache, but doesn't exactly taste like the rhone. AML mentioned a citrus profile, I agree. Cool climate, perhaps a touch green.

  March 21, 2012 - More Weeknight Tasting in KW (Dave's House): Popped and poured, served blind, followed for approximately one hour. On the nose, this shows red fruits, spice, white pepper, grapefruit, seaweed, sewage and some reduction. On the palate, red fruits, spice and swamp water. The finish is a tad short, with some drying tannin and slightly less than medium acidity. There was some talk amongst the group about this possibly being Grenache, but I stuck to my guns and went with Pinot from New Zealand. There was nothing Burgundian about this Pinot, despite it's origins.
