September 9, 2018 - Very good power and acid, underpinned by a touch of elegance.

June 15, 2017 - Very tasty Chardonnay; ripe apple and pear, apricot, honeysuckle, and a hint of sea breeze. The palate is fresh, crisp, ripe, and delicious. Doesn't have the minerality of a fine white Burgundy, but this is really good, balanced, and delicious Oregon pinot. Similar in vein to the Eyrie Chardonnay, but a bit more stone fruit and richness.

December 10, 2014 - I think this is very nice Chardonnay. I don't generally enjoy Chardonnay outside of its home in Chablis; however this has a nice bouquet of honeysuckle, pear, and jasmine. The palate is full bodied, yet remains very crisp, with nice balance and mouthwatering acidity. There is a touch of salinity in the finish that is enjoyable. From a warm, ripe year in Oregon, this is better than I expected and quite enjoyable. Probably still has several years of improvement ahead.

May 26, 2012 - Memorial Day Weekend & Eyrie South Block Reserve Pinots (Willamette Valley, Oregon): Lithe aromas. Thin, but still pleasing aromas, with some yeastiness. The palate is rich, lush, and creamy; big and rich, but tastes a bit too much like yeast (and I usually love that). The yeast is really the dominant flavor throughout, but this wine doesn't have the acid to balance that out. I've had plenty of yeasty chardonnay's that I love, but they definitely have to have some more intense acid and minerals to cut it and balance it.
