March 24, 2012 - Good red fruit aroma. Very straight forward raspberry & cherry taste with grass-like freshness and a little pepper spiciness. Has somehow cherry-like aftertaste. Medium body. Alcoholic smell decays quickly in 10 minutes. Tannin feeling is strong and raw. Recommend to decant for for 0.5-1 hrs to soften tannin. Perfect for pairing red meat. Great surprise for such cheap wine.
