September 7, 2017 - Very enticing and smooth. 爽口酸李子汁. Simply love it.

October 4, 2014 - Drinking wonderfully. Love the notes of violet and cherry intertwined. Acid makes it vibrant with life. Tannins are not perceivable and it feels supple on the palate. There's an illusion of sweetness on the midpalate. But it dissipates on the finish, as it's bone dry and of mid-length.

March 6, 2011 - Very good given the vintage. Lots of ripe black fruit, soy sauce and spice on the nose. Good acidity accompanies the ripe blackberry flavors but still have quite a bit of mouth-puckering tannins. An enjoyable Sunday night dinner wine.

August 26, 2010 - do not like it - too pruney

I'm enjoying the nose (some roses, a hint of meat - discernible after 1.5+ hours open). I'm getting some smoke on the finish (or is that due to the bacon I just tasted). A tad too much acidity on the finish which makes the tannins remind me of an over-infused cup of tea using a cheap brand of tea leaves. However, there was also a lovely spice note on the finish which lingered and went well with the beef stew. This particular wine does not enchant me; quite the opposite impression from the 2001 Nuit St Georges (les Vignes Rondes) I had a little less than a year ago. Perhaps it was just the wrong time to open this bottle.
