January 26, 2024 - Green tinge to rim; flamboyant nose; rumbustious, very rich, lively acidity; gorgeous. At peak.

July 27, 2023 - This bottle was in very good condition. Deep gold colour, more fragrant than I remember from previous recent bottles but in a similar place with developed citrus marmalade, creme brulee character. Great stuff.

April 8, 2023 - Looking noticeably more developed than I remember from last year, more caramel and burnt toffee and less citrus notes.

Still enjoyable but perhaps fading rather than staying on the plateau for a long time. Might open another bottle soonish to see if it's a consistent development or a one-off.

July 17, 2022 - There's been some bottle variation with these but the good ones are so fucking good, especially if you consider QPR.

Tangy marmalade with apricot, baking spice, and enough burnt toffee to offset the sweetness but not so much that the bitterness is unpleasant. Great stuff.

April 29, 2022 - Brought this to a wine appreciation workshop at The Panorama, organised by my colleague.

Gold in colour. Beautiful cream on the nose and palate, with honey, apricot, tropical fruits, mandarin oranges, ripe pineapples, and marmalade jam.

Amazing wine. Perfect when paired with desserts, wonderful when drank on its own.
