October 5, 2019 - 3 years later and this is now smooth as silk...1 hour decant allowed this light red to open and be enjoyed with grilled chicken and wife's vege brown rice,

October 1, 2019 - Notes as previous bottle - and surprisingly the wine drank just as good on day 3. Vacu pumped and in the fridge. Only two bottles left and it makes me sad.

September 10, 2019 - Medium ruby with hints of garnet in color. Oddly confected bitter orange and raspberry nose with a medicinal touch. On the palate it is medium bodied and the texture is supple but the flavors don't come together. There is definitely a lack of integration. I still prefer Selyem, a lot.

July 24, 2019 - A very nice and balanced pinot noir, and it’s drinking very well. Spice, good fruit (not at all heavy or ponderous). But it just doesn’t move me like some of the Santa Cruz bottlings do. Still, a very good California pinot.

June 15, 2019 - Drinking very good on open. I don't know that it will ever drink better. Beautiful rich red color. Nose, violets, ripe dark fruit, dark berries, cherries, marzipan, roses, maraschino cherries, fennel some herb. Drinking nicely as well. Deep and rich, smooth and a nice red berry acidity to compliment the sweetness of the wine. I would finish any bottle up soon. My guess is that the sweetness would be out of balance with the acidity and be to much like an adult candy. Right now loving this wine.
Day 2. Had a glass and a half left. Vacu pumped and back in fridge. After it warmed up today....drinking just as good as last night. Maybe some added cola notes. Drinking the wine a bit colder today and I say the wine benefits from being colder. Red fruits and berries are featured better and wine less sweet.
