  October 9, 2012 - Nice color and aromas of vanilla, toasty oak, anise, and red fruit. In the mouth, it has a plush texture, but drops a little in the end and has a tarter raspberry component in the end.

  March 26, 2012 - Aromatic notes of dark fruit with a little blackberry. Some hint of herb and cedar finish the nose. In the mouth, it's a little lighter than the Howell Mountain out of the gates, but really improved with added time out of the bottle. Hold this one for a bit still.
